SUP at Lake Lorraine

Available recreational options through Flow & Paddle:

  • SUP rentals

  • SUP Yoga

  • Pedal Boat rentals

  • Kayak rentals

  • Private lessons and parties

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is the first activity allowed to take place on the water at Lake Lorraine. Friessen Development, Inc. is working with Flow and Paddle to offer a variety of SUP classes and rentals.

Because the lake is privately-owned, no public activities are allowed on the water, including swimming and fishing. Only Flow and Paddle class participants or equipment renters, who are required to sign a waiver, will be allowed on the lake.

Flow and Paddle offers SUP classes as well as private lessons. In 2021 they added kayak rentals and pedal boat rentals. Walk-up rentals are available on weekends.

Participants will be provided with the SUP, personal floatation device (PFD), whistle, leash and paddle. Participants will need to sign a waiver. All classes come with on-land instruction.

Optional items to bring include water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, change of clothes, hand sanitizer and mask.

Flow and Paddle also offers classes through the Sioux Falls School District’s community education program.
